Public Speaking

Jesse is an inspiring public speaker who has addressed audiences ranging from 15 kids on a barge in the middle of Dublin, to a shipload of Antarctic tradies and scientists in the Southern Ocean, to hundreds of adults in Australian and international literary festivals, to tiny regional service clubs and her local U3A.

“Firstly - you ROCKED! Secondly thanks so much - you were a HUGE inspiration to all… everyone was enthralled and what a perfect way to start off the year!” - Kylie Mowbray Allen, Bangalow Business Women’s Network

“Jesse kept 100-plus librarians enthralled during her presentation tales of her writing, history research and vision. She is a great speaker and a fantastic ambassador for the Arts and Antarctica.” - Vassiliki Veros, NSW Readers Advisory Steering Committee.

“Jesse was a guest speaker at the Lennox Head VIEW Club’s International Women’s Day breakfast, a sold-out event attended by 220 women. Jesse spoke about her trip to Antarctica and her descriptions, enhanced by beautiful visuals, held her audience spellbound. It was a priviledge to have her as a speaker at our event.” - Dawn Sword, Lennox Head VIEW.

“Jesse’s sold out appearance at the State Library of NSW was an engaging and entertaining presentation. Audience feedback was overwhelmingly positive.” - Samantha Hagan, State Library NSW.
