Jesse was a developing screenwriter, adapting her own novels and writing original screen stories. She was one of 12 women selected to develop her screenwriting career under The Athena Project, funded by Screen Australia’s Gender Matters: Brilliant Careers program, and her professional development was funded by Create NSW.
