Jesse was an inspiring public speaker, festival guest and schools presenter who addressed audiences ranging from school kids on a barge in a Dublin canal, to a shipload of Antarctic tradies and scientists in the Southern Ocean, to hundreds of adults in Australian and international literary festivals, to tiny regional service clubs and her local U3A.
